DISSEMINATION

DESCRIPTION

Our approach of mapping future is based upon a multi-objective optimization framework … various conditions and alternatives solutions as much as you like. We agree with the idea of forecasting in the process of mapping futures … when the futures have prototypical directions such as growth, collapse, disciplined, and transformational. It starts with making various scenarios of possible futures based upon the discussion among the stakeholders of the project … and the outcome is categorized into key concepts like population, economy, environment, energy, technology, culture, and governance. The categorized outcomes are quantified as much as possible and changed into rules and formula … then further developed into scripts and codes for computation …

Our understanding of where we live
is not so philosophical but rather pragmatic

Understanding urban environment with quantifiable measures has been the source of debates
Well then becomes the one of heated discussions … now possiblly the one of main trends
